I have a disability that makes it really challenging to enjoy my favorite foods. I had a number of special requests to make it easier for me and the staff happily accommodated everything that I asked for (though sometimes they needed to be reminded, which is totally okay). I’ve been to Remedy around the UofA a few times over the years for drinks and food. Their butter chicken wrap has been a pleasant surprise in terms of quality and portion. My favourite part about this place is the second floor though, and I’d give them 7.8/10 for that.

Remedy Cafes have become a staple all around Edmonton...each with its own distinct vibe. This is one of the oldest in the city. The stairwell and space on the one side of the area (where the washrooms are) seems like it hasn't been used in some time. ... The furniture is aging and becoming a little dirty. And overall, it's an odd layout. However, it's still one of our favorite java hangs in the Whyte Avenue area. The food, coffees and teas are pretty much standard fare from any of the Remedys in the city. The service was good. Kind and helpful.
