This is called Scratch Baking YEG now, and it is so good! They also get Portuguese tarts from the Portuguese bakery on 118 which are the best IMO

Sandwiches are okay, the baked goods are really hit-or-miss, and the cashier either hates her job, hates customers, or both.

Good coffee and lunch soups/chili at reasonable prices. Cold cuts sandwiches are ok but pricey. Staff are friendly. Place is now called 'Scratch'.

Came from Calgary for the day and was looking for a lowkey, local cafe for a quick breakfast. Mondo was exactly that, it was quiet, had a good space inside with seating and the staff was so awesome and friendly. Prices were very reasonable for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. ... When we were enjoying our breakfast the staff came around with some free little pastries for us to try! They seem to have lots of regulars which is always a good sign. Thanks! Read more

Grabbed some lunch here the other day and had the best experience! The Cafe manager was amazing and very friendly, really warm vibe. I got a chicken wrap and an iced coffee, which both tasted delicious. Will be back for sure :)
