I’ve been wanting to visit this little cafe for a while and it did not disappoint! It is truly a little hidden gem. This is not only a cafe but a used book store with great pricing! Free wifi, and very kind staff 🤍 A great matcha!

Cozy cafe and used book store has a sort of Harry Potter vibe... but it needs more seating. Can get crowded with no seating at peak times 3-5pm. Plenty of drink options and some gluten free snacks available. I come here often. Milk alternatives like soy and almond for the ... lactose or casein intolerant. Few parking spots behind and more directly across the road. *Update At $7 for a tea latte, prices here are high as anywhere in the city, but that's trudeauflation. However I can find cafes that charge significantly less for a good tea. Also they said they don't carry mugs for regular size and served my tea in a paper cup so I just left it. The paper cups are lined with plastic that leaches micro plastics in the hot tea, so I avoid them. I came here because it's close to my house but for these reasons, I'm going to stop going here and go to my favorite Asian spot instead. Read more

We are in Edmonton for a volleyball tournament so just did a search nearby for a coffee shop. It's a very cute and quaint little spot in old Highlands. They have a lot of used books to peruse/buy, very tastefully arranged around the shop. The seating is just in and amongst ... the book shelves. The coffee was very good, we had Americanos with cream. Our child had the Blue Drink which was Blueberry Rooibos tea and blueberry syrup in a glass with ice. Very tasty. We also shared a slice of a seedy chocolate square. Also very nice. This is such a cute little space. I love the selection of books, the menu options, where it’s located, and that it has a public bathroom. It has a cozy atmosphere and it’s very quiet. Its a little tight and they only have 7 tables inside so securing a seat is a little difficult, its a good thing some customers left so we were able to save the spot😂 the macchiato is so-so and there are only a few selection of desserts but if you ... love books you will love it here, but you cant spend too long a time since there are also other customers coming.
