Pagolac on the south side used to be the go-to pho restaurant when it was in their other south location. Overall, they have a nice selection of food to choose from. In terms of pho, they have good quality pho with nice portions at a good price (especially number 26). ... However, their soup is not as good now. It's been years since I have been to this restaurant. Back in the 90s when they still open at China Town 97 street is always me and wife going to restaurants after our class. I'm very surprised that they still generously put in lots of meat in the pho soup ... noodle. I ordered the regular size and I felt very full which usually at other restaurants I usually ordered large size. Very satisfying. I will definitely go there again with my family. Good old days. Very spacious, well designed, and clean interior from a very unassuming exterior. The large menu features an assortment of Vietnamese Chinese dishes at reasonable prices served up quickly by friendly staff. Overheard other diners and they are all repeat/regular lunch customers.

Really impressed with this place. Super friendly and happy staff, food was amazing. I had the rare beef pho and it was delicious, and my friend has the ginger beef with rice, honestly the best ginger beef in Edmonton. It was perfectly cooked, great combo of crispy and saucy. My coworkers and I had an absolutely lovely lunch today at Pagolac! Everything was delicious! I had their green onion cakes and beef & broccoli. So so good! I can't wait to go back and try another dish!
