Haven't been to Jumbo in years. They still push the carts for dim sum (10/11am to 2:45pm). The same carts kept on coming around; extremely limited selection with dishes in the $6.75 to $9.95 price range. - 4x Tea ($1.00 each) - make sure to check your bill. They were going ... to charge kids/babies for tea. - Ha gao - Shumai - Steamed jumbo shrimp rice roll - Steamed curry squid - Steamed sticky rice - Deep fried sesame balls with red bean paste - Stir fried wide rice noodles ($18.95) - Singapore fried rice vermicelli ($18.95) Subpar dim sum, noodle lunch specials were even less memorable. Wouldn't come back anytime soon. 2.5 stars. Read more
The food and experience at Jumbo Dimsum is truly outstanding. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations, though preferences may vary depending on your personal taste-take the chicken feet, for example! The dining experience here is authentic and consistently of quality. The dim sum offerings are savory and bursting with flavor. ... Just be prepared for a bustling atmosphere, especially during peak lunch (we went there around lpm) and dinner hours (I believe). Despite the crowds, the servers are attentive and efficient, regularly bringing food carts around. Each dish is clearly labeled with photos and names, and the servers diligently keep track of orders. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR BILL $$, as it can add up quickly with all the tempting options available. And let's not forget the mango cake-IT'S JUST DIVINE! Very soft, not too sweet, and just the perfect highlight to end the meal on a high note. Read more
Stumbled on this restaurant by chance but what a nice discovery it was. There was plenty of staff to help you if you needed something that alone is a plus. Jumbo crystal shrimp with peaches and mango sauce is definitely a must try such a refreshing meal. The best fried ... rice is the salted fish fried rice. Overall the food is really good all the food that we ordered were really good its just a matter of personal preference of what you love the most. We will definitely go back. Read more
A reputable Cantonese restaurant where my dad used to host his birthday banquet every year. Authentic. Consistent quality. Dim sums (typical for lunch) can be ordered all day which is perfect as I was desperate for some hagow and my son was keen on sticky rice for dinner.
One of the best dimsum places ever! You got to try their curry squid 🦑… soo goood!!! Highly recommend, you got to go try this place, you won’t regret it!!!
