For $20, it was such a small portion, and the chicken balls were so hard it broke my awesome wooden fork they give you, lol. All they did was look at me stunned when i went back to tell them. I've gotten 3 times as much for the same price ... at Burbon St. Grill. I don't recommend Famous wok at all. Good inch of room from the noodles to the top of the container. Read more
It was my first time trying one of the combos at this Chinese eatery in Southgate mall food court. I was the only customer when I ordered, so it wasn't busy. Ginger beef and famous chicken: Portions: generous Freshness: delightfully crunchy; not where the shell is already soggy from bathing in the sauce for hours. Flavour: exactly what I want ... from westernized Chinese food. Sweet, glossy, hint of vinegar. The ginger beef could be more spicy but no complaints. I bought a combo which had a hair in it. When I went up to the lady working there and asked her to explain what that was, she behaved very rudely and said she’s not sure what that is. When I asked for my money back instead of a replacement ... she made a comment saying “you finished all of it” and then gave the refund. Terrible customer service and terrible food. 1/10 Read more
