I have been ordering from this place since I was a child. And to be honest it's the best chinese food I know of. Today my partner went to the door to get the food and she had the amount of money the lady on the phone told her to get. ... But the driver took the cash and would not hand over the food unless she gave him money for fuel.. so with my partner crying I got up and went down and once again he explained to me it's my job to pay for his gas that he used to deliver my food. And that I Get my food when he gets his gas money. I pulled my food from his hands and slammed the door. When I called the lady we ordered from she said the delivery driver doesn't know English. First time customer and did take out that's why I didn't give a rating for atmosphere. Ordered dinner for 2 (Sweet and sour pork, Chicken chop suey and Special Chow Mein. Food was still hot after a 10 minute drive home and taste was excellent. Besides that.... enough food for 4 ... people even when it's called dinner for 2. The owner is a really sweet and friendly lady. Enough reasons to go back next time we crave Chinese food!!!! Read more

1 star is too many for this restaurant. I am a maritimer and we love our Chinese food. Our daughter lives in Edmonton and we were visiting. We decided to order Chinese for her birthday supper. We waited almost 2 hours to receive our food. We called 3 times and ... she said the driver was on his way. It was a 5 minute drive from her house. Finally my son in law called and she was surprised we hadn't received it yet. We finally got our food and it was the worse Chinese food I've ever had. The spare ribs were battered and deep fried, the batter on all the chicken had a bad flour taste, the chow mein was definitely not chow mein. I highly recommend to think twice before ordering from a disgusting elegant court. Read more

This is a hidden gem, my wife and I drive in from Fort Sask for the excellent dishes, the food is fantastic and the waitress Tam is like a ray of sunshine that always brightens our day. Simply good value , great food for your hard earned dollars.

This is always my go to place in the neighbourhood. I’ve tried the other restaraunts in the area but Elegant Court is the best. Our favourites are the Shanghai Noodles, Lemon Chicken, Ginger Beef, Beef & Brocolli, and even their spring rolls are good and I am normally not a ... fan. I’ve only managed to have a delivery driver available once, but I don’t mind picking it up because it’s so yummy. Oh and their customer service is great. The ladies are always so sweet and helpful.
