The Confederation Lounge - Edmonton, Alberta

It’s been years since I visited the confederation lounge and this was the first since they renovated. Our server Michelle was delightful as always. We had the Brussels sprouts and truffle fries and they were delish!

We were staying in the hotel and had dinner here twice, as well as drinks one night. It's definitely a fabulous space as far as decor and atmosphere goes. Food was good, service was good. As I mentioned in my review of our hotel stay, it would seem that some ... of the servers at Fairmont are the only ones left that know how to give the old school luxury treatment. We had a late lunch here on Sept 19 and wow fantastic experience. Our waitress was kind, happy and very welcoming. We ate a small lunch and had a beverage. The food was as expected wonderful. The chef cooks everything outside near the patio in an outdoor kitchen. The view ... sitting outside is terrific and the gardens well maintained. I would highly recommend a stop here. Read more

Great food, great view and good service. The only disappointment was the table we were allotted initially. The table facing the open kitchenette outdoors is useless. Why would I come here and sit facing a kitchenette instead of the great view that this place offers. Besides that no issues. The ... food was amazing. Loved the chimichurri that came with the steak. If you enjoy outdoors with a nice view this is the place to go! The staff were attentive and our orders were beautifully presented but a little on the salty side but I realized I should have given them a heads up for that so not their fault. Four course ... meal was awesome but it just took a long time to serve our dessert but again it won’t stop us from going again! We love the place! Read more
