Wow, great experience. The food was amazing and had very large portions. Lots of selection in the menu. Highly recommend the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and the fish & chips. Great service topped only by the amazing food. It's not fine dining by any means, but it's the best classic smoked meat sandwiches I have found since moving out West. Definitely coming back here again. The only downside is how thick the smoked meat is sliced, but it becomes quickly irrelevant ... when you bite into the sandwich and experience that great flavour. 5/5. Read more

The lady that served us was great. Always refilled our drinks and she packed our food. I ordered steak and it was a bit tough. I asked for medium but it came out to be more well done.

We had our group out for beef dip last Saturday as part of our quest for the best beef dip in town. The votes are still coming in but for me this was close to perfection. Huge pile of beef on a very nice bun (Italian Center maybe?) with some ... very decent jus. Under $20! The service was just fine despite it being fairly busy. The atmosphere may not be the usual pub vibe I enjoy but it was a bunch of people (about 25+ on the bar side) having fun and enjoying the food. It was great! The owners stopped at our table for a chat and a round of ouzo. This place is worth a visit and I will be back. The picture is of a half the beef dip sandwich and the pile of onion rings that came with it was massive. Loved it! April 2024 update. I feel the need to update my review, as we just visited RG this weekend on our new quest - best signature burger in town. RG once again did not disappoint! Their RG Smoke Stack Burger is massive and the price is unreal. The burger is a thick patty, the groceries are generous and fresh, the fries were a delicious heaping pile! I personally liked the gravy, although some in our group did not - personal taste thing. If there is any bit of criticism, it would be about the party being under-seasoned, but S&P are right there on the table for that. Keep this up RG crew - you’re a great bunch👍 Read more

There was 4 of us who went here and we got the smoked meat sandwich, beef dip, club roll and a pizza. All of us loved the sandwiches. Was a really delicious beef dip. The pizza was just ok. I was a little disappointed that the fries we got were ... different than other ones I’ve seen in other review pictures. Maybe they had run out or something.
