Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre - Edmonton, Alberta

Rooms were clean but had a lingering smell from the hallway. The hallway was so hot and smelled so bad that I had to cover my nose going from our room to the elevator. The pool and hot tub were amazing, the staff was friendly but the smell of this ... hotel is very unpleasant in the carpeted hallways and the heat is very intense. Their so called fix was to put a large fan at the end of the hall, this only made things worse as it pushed the smell into the room. Read more

This is a very nice hotel. I have driven by it many times, and needed somewhere to stay on short notice, so I decided to give it a try. It is a beautiful facility! Check in was quick and we got a free upgrade to a suite, which was really ... nice. Everything in the room was nice and clean. The whole facility was clean and inviting. There is a pool and hot tub, but no waterslide, if that's something you or your children like. Overall it was a good stay and excellent facility. It would be a great place to host a conference. The only drawback to this hotel is that there is not a lot of restaurants close by (there are a few) and shopping is a bit of a drive. Read more

Nice hotel but the staff really make it great. The server at the restaurant Fred was fantastic, super nice. The front desk staff were the same, I checked out at 9am heading for the airport and got notified that my flight was delayed for hours. Our team recently stayed in this hotel while travelling for a tournament, and our service was outstanding the entire time that we were there. The manager that helped us with our booking, Ling, was unbelievably kind and accommodating on the trip. He upgraded our rooms, allowed us to utilize empty ... banquet spaces for team meetings/meals, ensured that there were plenty of additional items during breakfast for all the teams that were competing, and even opened the restaurant early when we had early-morning games. I've never been to a hotel with a team that was so kind, accommodating, and thoughtful during our stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and we will definitely stay here next time we play in Edmonton. Read more

Our team had read some not so great reviews and weren't sure what to expect upon arrival. Our expectations were exceeded. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean, staff was attentive & we were even given a banquet room free of charge to enjoy a team meal together. Staff admitted ... they had a water problem a few weeks back, but it was out of their control and all fixed now. We didn't have any problems with water. It's true that there's no waffle maker, but we enjoyed lots of meat and eggs & the hotel even opened breakfast early (6:00 am) when we informed them of our early games.
