Wendy’s - Edmonton, Alberta

I ordered a chicken sandwich combo to stay, and saw 3 other customers who ordered after me receive their orders first. There was a mistake with my order she said and they had to make another one to order. She was apologetic and sincere about the mistake. Upon receiving my order ... and sitting down, I took a first bite of the sandwich and felt scalding hot liquid hit the top of my tongue like no other food or beverage before. I instantly had to stop and collect myself/cool my mouth before being able to continue. 2 hours later I'm still sucking on ice chips and can't stop because the burning pain is too much. I haven't been to this location for many years. (at the university area, 84 Ave, 112 Street) The service was OK, but the breakfast biscuit with bacon, egg and cheese was cold. The bacon was terrible dry and hard. Looked like it was left in the kitchen for a very ... long time. I should complain. I will not order the biscuit sandwich again there. In addition, I forgot to mention. There was a street person swearing and yelling the whole time, disturbing the customers. I could not enjoy my breakfast at all. Read more

Staff was incredible at this location. Service was very quick, staff was very friendly, kitchen was squeaky clean. Staff gave me a fantastic discount on 2 free burgers and a shake, they were knowledgeable about their rewards app and helped me navigate it to its fullest potential. I ordered online so wouldn't have to wait long to pick up my order, but I still had to wait. I literally got to the restaurant 5 minutes after I made my order on skip, waited, then 3 customers got served before I did before anyone at the counter asked/gave me ... my skip order. and when I got it, these girls didnt even check to look at the receipt to see if i got everything in my order cuz I was missing my drink, and again i had to wait even longer for them to get back to me so i could ask for my drink. It was not even busy when I got there. I might as well order in person if theyre not gonna bother checking for online order pickups. theres usually a guy thats pretty good with online order pickups, but today he wasn't there. Like i understand minimum wage isnt very motivating to work with, but they really put the minimum in minimum wage, we need to start paying these workers more to get some more steam out of them, this is ridiculous.
