Fast, tasty and cheap food. It’s good for high schoolers because it’s cheap.

DO NOT ORDER DRY RIBS. Was craving for dry ribs and was so disappointed. Mostly bones, and fat with barely any meat. This little pack is overpriced at 5.50. Why? Why serve these to your customers?

I have wanted to go to this place for many years. I have passed it driving, on the bus, or biking. I finally stopped in and had a double scoop of ice cream on a chocolate dipped waffle cone. $7 for my choice of flavours of which they had a ... great selection. They also sell a variety of other items. I didn't have a chance to look at the menu too closely but there's burgers, fries, and things of that nature. It was somewhat busy when I was there. Great little local icecream parlour that also serves burgers and fries and other deep-fried goodies. Prices are more than fair and I'm actually surprised they haven't drastically increased their prices over the years. Last time I was here about 13 years ago a single burger was $2. Now it's $2.50. ... Can't beat these prices! A meal consisting of a double burger, fries, gravy and a Slurpee was only $6.50! I would attribute the burgers as same quality if not slightly better than a burger from a hockey or football stadium but a fraction of the cost. Icecream selection is great and of good quality and scoops are generous. Very comparable to 80 Flavours but lower in price. Only downside would be the poutine, fries and gravy are exceptional but the kraft single added to make it a poutine is a crime. Aside from the poutine faux pas, I would highly recommend this west end institution. They have been here for as long as I can remember and there's a simple reason why, affordable good eats and sweets. Read more
