This place was right beside our hotel and the clerk recommended it. She suggested the bison burger. It was very good but a little different. I’ve never had bison so it seems to have a very unique flavor. She got the fettuccine Alfredo which is definitely not like it is ... in the US. That was kind of the point though to try something different. The dessert was phenomenal. First time trying out Homefire Grill. Had a great experience, experience excellent service, and great food. I had a bison burger and my wife had a wood-fired pizza, both were delicious. The mussels and spinach artichoke dip appetizers were also great.

I’ve been here a few times already and it never disappoints. They have a good variety on their menu but not too big that they aren’t able to do them well. This restaurant has a terrific atmosphere with a fireplace in the centre and an open kitchen The service was excellent We had the basket of bannock with maple butter. Bannocks were light and fluffy and delicious. The bison spring rolls were full of meat but definitely needed salt and seasoning and were ... quite heavy. I would never order them again. I had the Sausage Rosè pasta with elk meat. It was absolutely fantastic. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The sauce and the sausage were so good. 15/10 for that dish. My friend had the bison burger but did not enjoy the Saskatoon berry chutney topping as it is spiced and tart.
