Visiting Edmonton for a few days for our daughters Nationals Volleyball Tournament and decided to have our volleyball team dinner here during our first night. The floor manager was super friendly and helpful. Servers may need a bit more training, but they were nice and hard working. Our server ... asked us twice within 5min minutes for our order. She must have forgotten that she already took our order. My wife had a hair in her salad, but the manager quickly addressed that by giving her a new salad. The The male server came out with a salad and a clay chowder, placed the salad infront of my friend and the chowder infront of me. I wasn't sure if it was mine since my wife had ordered had pre-ordered our Dinner and had left to use the washroom. She ordered me the rack of ribs for $40 so I thought this was the appetizer that came with it....I don't eat at Earles very often, maybe twice in past 20yrs. I wasn't sure what to do, I was hungry and so I started eating it 😅. Well.....guess what my wife told me when she came back. She didn't order it lol. I ended up paying for it anyway. Miscommunication and under trained staff will always affect customer experience. Ribs were good, just needed more bbq sauce. New England clam chowder was meh. We just got back from Rogers Place and decided to go to Earls. It happened to be Happy Hour. The food like in most locations was great. Unfortunately, we had to wait 25 minutes for the food to get to the table. Our server apologized. They did ... seem to have a lot of take out orders to deal with. Phenomenal steak, perfectly seasoned. I was quite impressed that portions are keeping up to the prices. The restaurant itself is very elegant and well taken care of, I love the theme they’ve gone with. Definitely try the espresso martini, can’t taste the alcohol at all! It’s so good.
