The service was fairly slow at first and towards the end when we were trying to get our bill, and ... our server forgot about the dessert we were offered as well, however the manager made sure to get it to us as we left so overall it was a great experience! We successfully bid on an "Earl's Chef's Table Dining Experience" at a fundraiser last year and finally booked our date last month. My husband, daughter and I each invited a friend to join us. It was a lovely evening, and we were treated like VIP the entire night! We started with ... cocktails and mocktails; the teenagers were very impressed by the elevated drinks! Everything was brought out quickly, and came beautifully plated. We were treated to five courses; the always delicious Spinach Dip, Angry Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Sumptuous Sushi Taco’s, tasty Truffle Tortellini with Filet Mignon, Cajun Chicken with Ribs and Coleslaw, and finally decadent Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Just opposite to the U of A campus, unassuming place from outside but quite busy and full of action inside. Food and service both were fairly good, nothing to complain about. Quite a wide variety of food options from Mexican to sushi and everything in between. Update: The barbecue/oven roasted ribs are highly ... recommended , juicy and fall off the bone. Yesterday my wife and I had honestly one of the best examples of customer service anywhere ever. Our daughter is in the hospital for an extended stay so to give ourselves a break we went to earls for dinner. We got a seat right away however we didn’t see a ... server for about 15 minutes. We were not concerned and did not complain or mention it to anyone. We were just thankful to be out of the hospital. The woman at the front who was either the hostess or the manager came over unprompted and said she’d noticed we’ve been sitting at our table for at least 15 minutes which isn’t right and offered to 1) get someone immediately and 2) take care of either appetizers or a round of drinks. We explained we were just happy to be out of the hospital and it wasn’t a problem and didn’t need anything but she insisted. Later in the evening the server came back and told us they were giving us a free desert because our daughter was in the hospital. We were blown away. We had a simple late lunch here and everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious. We love it that they added a good amount of fresh vegetables in every dish.
