You know how you might have some places as Show off places when friends come in to town. This is in my list of show off places. But it's has been falling off. Has something happened to the food cost where it ... feels like the hash browns are now being rationed? Look at my plate of simple Bennie compare to photos of years before. I have no issue with the prices going up at all, but portion reduction at the same time seems unfair and makes the plating look cheap. The dishes used to fill my plate, my eyes and my belly. I walked in feeling like a veggie burger and found out Thurs. - Sat. Evening it TORO a tapas restaurant! I love Tapas and food adventures excite me! The prawns with I think Cajun spice were delicious, I had two orders 🤦🏻‍♀️. I definitely felt like I was somewhere else ... besides Edmonton. The potato ball with I think red pepper sauce was flavourful. I often have to wait till I’m in New York or Chicago for Shishito peppers and was so happy to have had them here. I’ve always been a fan of Chef Koppert and definitely miss his nasi goreng from the old Manor. This is a definite a must try 😋😋😋😋😋 This food definitely gets 5 yums! Ask about the dessert, share and just do some extra steps. 😊 Sorry about the mostly eaten pics, I was obviously impatient once I saw the food. This was our first time trying out the Urban Diner . We showed up on "Toro" night for a classic Spanish menu. The food was absolutely decadent! The presentation was completely appetizing, and the service was very friendly and inviting. I highly recommend trying out the Urban Diner. For dessert ,we chose the cheesecake. We went to Toro, the Spanish tapas evening version, we loved it! The ambience and food is really good, great selection of wines, perfect for a date night or some drinks with friends

The breakfast for all day is a very exciting option here! I tried lunch sandwiches with sweet potato fries and it was very unique and delicious! I just did not like the coffee since it has a special taste, but other people may like it! Recommended if you are around.
