Wow, what a fantastic dining experience! I recently visited Ricky's All Day Grill and was blown away by the quality of food and service. I ordered the Veggie Burger and Avocado Toast, and both dishes exceeded my expectations. The veggie burger was juicy and flavorful, and the avocado toast was ... creamy and fresh. But the real star of the show was the Alfredo Pasta, which I tried as a side dish - it was rich, creamy, and utterly delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, especially the Nutella Waffle Stack and Buttermilk Pancakes, which I heard are amazing! I recent visit to Ricky's Restaurant was nothing short of delightful, thanks to the exceptional service from Strawberry and Benny. From the moment I walked in, and friendly demeanor set the tone for an enjoyable evening. She greeted me with a genuine smile and promptly guided me to my table, ... ensuring I felt comfortable and well-taken care of. Benny's service was equally impressive. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the menu were commendable. She patiently answered all my questions and offered insightful recommendations that perfectly suited my taste. The dishes arrived promptly, and Benny's timing was impeccable, ensuring my dining experience flowed seamlessly. Strawberry shake and Benny's teamwork was evident throughout the evening. They were attentive without being intrusive, constantly checking in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Their professionalism and positive attitudes truly enhanced my experience at Ricky's Restaurant. The food, as always, was delicious and beautifully presented. But it was the outstanding service from Strawberry shake and Benny that made this visit particularly memorable. We usually love coming to Ricky’s over the years— typically it’s quick, great food, great service, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s easy to tell ownership has changed over the years which is understandable. But our experience this week was very disappointing. Food took 40+ minutes when the entire restaurant only had ... about 5 - MAYBE 7 seats full. We ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and the steak in it was so fatty it was impossible to chew through, and the gravy as part of the side had an undesirable spice/flavor to it - we’ve ordered this meal here before without issues so we knew our expectations of what we were ordering. When letting our server know, she didn’t fully understand what the issue was but offered to have it remade. We declined given that it already took 40 minutes to get this dish in the first place (and said this was why we declined it). At this point it was already 15-20 minutes to closing. We were given the bill and were compensated $2.20 on a $22 meal that wasn’t even half eaten. We aren’t fussy people, but the fact that there was the absolute bare minimum of customer service initiated to rectify it was what made this experience the most disappointing. We could’ve stayed home and made this meal faster and spared ourselves the money and energy. Very disappointing given every other experience we’ve had in the last 10 years of being a customer has been phenomenal. It was the worst experience we ever had at any restaurant. Seated 9.25 am..ordered Chicken & Avo Omeltte/Egg white and Mediterranean Benny (Hollandaise on the side). At 9.57am, we been served with our Easter breakfast. No complaint it took over 30 mts for breakfast. There were ... only 6 tables and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Food looks good, even with Burnt toast, but guess what...it wasn't Egg White Omelet and Egg Benedict were fully covered with Hollandaise wherethough we ordered sauce on the side. The young server was really nice, immidiately apologized, and accepted that the kitchen messed it up. They brought us both items in the next 10 mts.. Great, but again, their kitchen messed up.. Mediterranean Benny is supposed to be served with steamed Spinach (as per the description in the menu), but it wasn't. We asked for the manager, but as per the server, there is no manager on duty on busy Sunday Easter Breakfast. We noticed Benny was served with steamed garden salad leaves, including lettuce, and after bringing it to attention, we found out they were out of Spinach! Again, our server felt very embarrassed and offered to waive the Benny from our bill. We paid and left with hope that one day, they would fix their issues. A mediocre food experience but you can't expect much from this menu. Expect an edited breakfast lunch menu with standard fried options. We were served cold fries and sweet potato fries with luke warm fried meats and fish. Sides are skimpy, dipping sauces minimal. Presentation was fair, cocktails were low ... grade. Ricky's suffices for breakfast brunch though is a last resort after. We have enjoyed breakfast here, but this last dinner experience was middle to poor. The waitresses were kind but way over worked covering for a slow kitchen and very poor bar. The bar lounge seemed more a rest stop for serving staff with jackets and coats slung across customer seating, and the best table reserved for pickups. You get my idea here.
