Memphis Blues - Edmonton, Alberta

When my family asked where I wanted to go for Mother's day, I knew just the spot to go! We headed to the Memphis Blues BBQ house in Millwoods and had the Elvis Platter with the seafood melody and extra BBQ shrimp. Firstly, I just love this place! The decor is awesome ... and keeps the kids busy looking around. The colouring wall of fame is another favourite and my daughter proudly added her art with the help of Ness the owner The food was amazing, everyone loved it and there was no complaints from my 4 kids and me and hubby are so happy. Then for dessert Ness offered the kids and mom a complimentary ice cream with topping We got to take home a huge helping as the portions are so huge! Fantastic food, very nice owner. We had the humongous Memphis platter-a sampling of all the meats they had on offer. The cornbread was everything!

Actual rating is 3.5 stars. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I found the brisket to be very tender but needed a bit more flavor. Also i like to see a nice crisp crust on my brisket. This was a bit soggy. The corn bread for me wasn't ... sweet enough. I like to see a nice denser corn bread with a bit more sweetness to it. Also leave out the chuncks of corn. The fries, beans, slaw, and bbq sauce were all spot on. Overall a decent meal. Read more

SO GOOD got the Beef Brisket Combo and the Pulled Pork! Combo comes with Cornbread, beans, coleslaw, and a choice of either potato salad or Cajun Fries (the cajun fries was amazing) DEFINITELY Get the beef brisket! Cant wait to try more of their menu esp their seafood platter options 😍

What a great atmosphere with some sweet tunes.By far one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I had the Catfish Po Boy and was it ever nice and crispy.
