Have gone a few times. Service was excellent. Destiny was my waitress. Always was smiling with all patrons even when being short staffed. She was very helpful with recommendations on food and drinks. Stopped by to meet some friends while I was visiting from out of town. I liked the cozy pub vibe. Everyone seemed to be having fun, my friends and I met lots of friendly people. Our server Courtney was awesome. She knew about all the beers and had great recommendations. ... She also had a funny sense of humor that helped add to the lively fun environment. A cozy pub with tonnes of Golden Bear and Pandas memorabilia all around you - a true U of A stronghold! It wasn’t very busy around lunch hour surprisingly, making our service pretty prompt. Our server was happy to make any adjustments to our orders and was very friendly overall. The ... taco salad that I ordered with beef unfortunately didn’t meet the expectations I had. The salad almost tasted sweet, which was not the taste I was looking for. The salsa that was used was what made it too sweet I think, however I did order guacamole to balance that flavor out. We went out to meet friends for karaoke and decided to order a pizza to take home. The pizza took an hour to come out but when we got it home, it was awful. The cheese tasted like texmex but looked like cheddar from a bag. The meat was not ... evenly distributed and the crust was thin and soggy and was barely cooked through.
