Schanks Sports Grill - Edmonton, Alberta

Hasn't changed much if at all in years. Went here for an occasion and had to order my drink from the bar as a waitress never came to visit our table. Good news is that the bartenders are responsive and polite. Didn't order food so I can't comment on ... that. The space is dated but not a bad place to watch sporting events. Love Schanks !!! So much to do in here ! Pool, mini golf, virtual golf, loads of big tv's to watch your favorite teams, and great food and adult bevvies! Perfect place to go for big group get togethers! 10 stars out of 5 !

Went here for a group gathering and food arrived promptly, place was not too loud. Endless refills for soft drinks when I was the designated driver. I appreciate that a lot. Only thing I didn't like were all the smokers at the front door. A nice little sitting area of ... to one side of the entrance might encourage smokers to sit down away from the entrance. Read more

I have only been here once, but it was such a fun and memorable night. Calvin McCarty from the Edmonton Eskimos just happened to come in with the 2015 championship Grey Cup. He let us drink from the trophy and take pics with him. The staff at Schanks was pretty good ... with us even before Calvin arrived. We were served right away and our waitress was very observant and made sure our drinks were always full. The food was pretty decent as well. Read more

We had our Christmas party here tonight. The food is amazing, our server was fast and attentive. We did mini Olympics. Great for team building and for friendly rivalry. Had to yell to hear each other, but the game was on so no one minded a few silences. Would do ... it again and recommend to others. Thank you for a great time Schanks! Read more
