Here to just talk about the service. Three words, it, was, HORRIBLE. Mainly the two ladies that were there, they were extremely rude to us and wouldn’t take our order unless we tipped them. Would refuse service for no reason as well. I know they’re probably just fed up with ... us, but this was just too far. Atmosphere was fine and didn’t try food just here about service. Service has improved dramatically compared to a few years ago and the vibes are amazing. Great view, good food, delicious drinks. A great place to spend a Friday all around

To save you some time ready this I’ve been going to RATT for over twenty years so they are going to get five stars from me no matter what. I’ve visited a lot of universities around this country and having a bar in the middle of campus with a 360 ... degree view of the city skyline and river valley is such a unique experience. The pints are always cold and the chicken burger is always consistently good. People complain about the menu, wait times, parking and service but it’s a campus bar that is only open on Fridays so don’t expect to be in and out id there quickly. You can park 100m away in a paid parking lot, the Student Union Building only has two elevators so prepare to wait a couple minutes before your journey to the top floor and if you are planning on having multiple drinks or ordering some food plan ahead and order when the staff walks by to cut down on your wait time. Normally go to Dewey’s but decided to switch it up last week. It was awful. Food is overpriced and disgusting. I paid 16$ for a pulled pork sandwich, that had no side and the bun was so soggy it disintegrated. Server did not check up on us at all and ... when we finally got their attention seemed annoyed with us. Tried to order a drink from the bar and the bartender got snappy and told us they couldn’t serve at the bar, even though there was people drinking three chairs down at the bar. This was my first time here, view was good but service was not the best. I guess it depends on who’s your server. My friends and I ordered burgers w fries. 1. You’d expect fries to come with ketchup, but we had to ask for it. I also asked for hot ... sauce, but they didn’t have any, which I found strange since other menu items have Frank’s red hot sauce. 2. French fries were bland and didn’t have that hot, fresh taste. 3. The burgers actually look good, but the taste was not up to par. Burger buns were dry (other than the chicken burger which was fine since it was brioche). The buns were also a bit burnt, especially around the edge, so the burgers had an unappetizing burnt taste throughout. 4. The chicken burger was very greasy. 5. Our server was unenthusiastic, and didn’t check up on us often to see if we needed anything else. TLDR, I didn’t really come with high expectations, just wanted to try it out and was left disappointed. Maybe we needed to try other menu items? Read more
