We went for dinner and was definitely disappointed in the service and food quality. I ordered a burger, add mushrooms. The burger arrived with no mushrooms and the quality check took so long the burger was cold. I asked them to remake it so I could have a hot dinner. ... They put the mushrooms on the same burger and toasted the bun so I had a cold burger and warm bun. We had to hunt down our server to get our bill, which wasn't hard because there was one other table in the whole place. I came home and made myself a hot supper. Read more

Original Joes in Sherwood Park is by far the best restaurant in the park by a mile. Service is top notch, food is always to perfection. And the two sides with you entree is the best value in town. Recommendation would be to add a house IPA to your menu ... and increase the size of your TVs in the corners, especially for game nights! Overall great atmosphere! Read more

We went to this location and we were super excited to find out they had seating for the Oilers game. We should of been worried the place was less than half full, but more on that later. We were seated in the back corner beside the raised booths making ... it so the person facing the bar had to duck to watch the game through the hand rails and the person facing the windows had to lean back and look straight up. As mentioned the bar was less than half full and there were many other tables that would of provided a view, but not knowing if they were reserved we kept our mouth shut. The table was extremely sticky and felt as though it was never cleaned. When the server finally arrived (Brooklyn) we asked which beers were on sale for the game, she didn't know and left the table. About 20 minutes later she came back with the list and we ordered. When ordering I specified I wanted to sub the Swiss for cheddar. Simple enough. Half an hour goes by and we are done our drink when a different server brings out the food. My order is wrong and I explain it. They apologize as it wasn't their table and leave with the food (the servers were very polite, even though they never offered more drinks). My food comes back extremely fast and again we aren't offered more drinks. I notice that my sandwich is floating in liquid but thought maybe they just spilled some au jus. I bite into the sandwich and realize what happened. Instead of remaking the food properly the cook decided to just recook the order that was made wrong, used water to steam the swiss in an attempt to hide it and melt the cheddar on top. The watered down mess now was made even more wrong and when our server finally came back I pointed it out to her, she immediately blamed the kitchen. I asked for the manager and she said she would go get her. Our drinks were still empty. The manager came over and wouldn't let me talk just saying that the kitchen misunderstood and that she wouldn't charge me for it. I was never offered an opportunity to order something else or even to order another drink. About half an hour later Brooklyn the server comes with the bill. The second period had just started and we had planned on staying for the full game but were being rushed out. I paid the bill and then realized that the manager didn't take the entire meal I ordered off the bill instead leaving the charges for "Adding Cheddar" showing the issue was the server rang in the bill wrong and it wasn't the kitchens fault. We left promptly going to a different place to eat and watch the rest of the game. Why would someone be charged for subbing cheeses in the first place? Arguably the Swiss would cost more on the restaurants inventory control compared to the cheddar. Also to note the tomato soup was brown and greasy compared to other Original Joes but with how the "Chefs" cut corners and recook food that has already been served (violation of health code) I wasn't surprised. Came to this location to enjoy a nice family dinner after swimming at Millenium. It was quite busy, but a host was able to get us into a corner table, which we enjoyed. I ordered a wrap that had chicken / avocado wrap, and my family had burgers. Wait, time ... for the food was not bad, tasted great, and presentation was neatly done. The steak was perfect, the garlic bread was great, the shrimps were delicious and there was a lot of them, the tomato backon soup was delicious and the sweet potato fries were good. The Carolina pulled pork sandwich was filled with so much flavor the bun with fresh the crinkle ... cut fries were crispy and the vegetables were fresh and abundant.
