Came with my partner, reserved a table (the place was dead quiet). Waitress was friendly but didn't say anything about me not touching my drink or salad. I got the fennel salad, which is one of my favorites. I had a Caesar fennel at the Smokey Bear when they were ... still open that was to die for! But this was not that-it was so bitter I had to spit it into a napkin. There was no other flavor-just tasted like very bitter celery. The drink was sort of on me-I read the description and it said the Mojito was made with lime juice and I forgot lime juice sometimes means Bar Lime, which is sweet. In any case, I had none of either and the waitress didn't say a thing about it. I'm giving 3 stars because it was a first time (for me likely the last though, I had my partner try the salad and he said it tasted rotten) however, my partner had the steak and gave it a 6/10. Had dinner here for my birthday with my wife and 2 other couples. The food was terrific and the service was impeccable. It was the first time any of our group had been to the restraunt and we were all very pleased. The Menu had a nice variety of choices ... and also a Feature menu that has even more options. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Pretty restaurant and nice patio. The service was excellent. A great selection of wine and beer. For starters we had mushroom soup and chicken wings. The mushroom soup was delicious and flavourful. The S&P chicken wings were just slightly undercooked for my taste but they ... were juicy and had a nice crisp to them. I loved the fact that the carrots served were fresh juicy and crispy. Not old carrots as so often is served. For mains we both had Halibut with veggies, and rice. The halibut was lovely, well seasoned and fresh tasting. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the rice was light and fluffy. But for 43 dollars a plate I really would have liked a little more… wow. The bread pudding was rich, sweet, moist, and my favourite part of the meal. Not always a dessert person but I was glad I ordered this one. So yummy! Read more

It's a cute restaurant in the neighborhood that the quality of food and nice services are guaranteed. It's got that unique local friendliness. All staff were super friendly and nice including those who answered our phone, who sat us and who served us. We were very happy about the menu ... our server Rick recommended and services he provided. I am pregnant and wanted to have some nice virgin cocktail other than mojito and he offered sangria that is substituted with pomegranate juice and oh boy it was delicious!! Also, all the food we ordered were delicious. You must try their mushroom pizza. The taste of the fresh ingredients with a touch of truffle oil was great. The pate and halibut fish cake were also great. They have a nicely set up patio that we want to try next time. We originally went there to sit in their patio but we decided to stay inside since the inside set up was also very romantic and came with more comfy chairs. Read more
