Awful experience. 4 of us went for lunch, and it took an hour for them to tell me that they didn't have the "meat" for a Ruben sandwich on their menu. Food was awful and so was the service. Good decor, but overpriced. Management imposes an 18% tip if you have a group. We had 9 people, happy hour prices, had 5 appetizers and each person had 2-3 drinks, with the bulk of them being on happy hour. Bill was around $350, with $60 of that ... being their mandatory service fee. No one else in the place, at all, for the 2 hours we were there on a Friday night, so I imagine their lack of customers has something to do with the prices. Portions were really small, service was okay (at least the server warned me about the 18% and seemed to be really apologetic, so obviously it's come up before). I understand putting a service premium on large groups having full meals, but a people after work having a few draft beers and an appetizer? Didn't sit well with me, so probably won't give them another shot. Far better options (Fireside?) really close by. Read more

Couple things.. the entire restaurant is quiet except for one table. There is a wait to be seated sign but no one in sight. When we finally just sat down ourselves the server came to drop off the food to the one other table then proceeded to clean tables instead ... of taking our order or even offering us menus. We needed to ask him to help us... Then when ordering the server scoffed and said that’s too much. It looks like he was the only person working in the whole restaurant so he clearly didn’t want to do the cleaning, the bartending and the cooking.. at least the food was quick and delicious but the server needs help and lessons in customer service. The atmosphere is quite dark I mean dark theme (dark wood and seating with dimmed lighting). So, I ordered the calamari, rib-eye steak, and apple pocket. Everything is fine but my family member didn't receive his main dish (human error or miscommunication). However, the manager wanted to resolve the issue ... by making his meal as soon as possible but due to the time. He chose to go with the free dessert. Read more

The server was nice, which is why I'm giving this an extra star. However, the food was very expensive for the quality. My salmon was over-cooked and dry and the side of rice mushy. My sister's salad had olives that still had pits in them. My other friend's scallops were ... also overdone. I wouldn't have been so annoyed about this if I hadn't had to fork out so much dough.
