*BEST HANG OUT PLACE ON WHYTE* I have been eating at this restaurant for the past 4 years in Edmonton. Great local place to just sit and have a hearty meal or a cup of coffee. - Their noodle soups (Pho, Bun Bo Hue, etc.) are great but the flavor can sometimes ... be lackluster (like most viet restaurants here). The broth is probably the clearest I have seen at a Vietnamese restaurant. They cook every piece of meat to perfection. Hands down best in town meat-wise. Portion size can be a little small for how much you are paying, but the quality more than makes up for it. Other Viet dishes on the menu are delicious. - Eggs Benny: Very delicious, eggs poached to perfection every time. The hollandaise sauce has a beautiful creamy texture, and a rich, buttery flavor with notes of citrus. - Great variety of options: Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Western breakfast. They are also quite well known for vegetarian dishes. - The staff are friendly and really know the locals. Hard to not love the warm and welcoming atmosphere whenever I visit this place. Read more

The service here is amazing! The staff really know their customers well and have built great relationships with them. The food was also really good with lots of vegetarian options. The veggie pho was just what I needed today and makes for a great comfort dish. I absolutely LOVE the ... homemade iced tea. My sister really liked the curry, which is surprising because she usually doesn't eat curry often. Incredible. I ordered the Steak and Brisket Pho and it was phenomenal. Also, it can be gluten-free as well! Best Pho in Edmonton and such a great price for a massive bowl. 1000/10 will be going there again!

Ate here with my friend in the afternoon. Walked in through the back. Looked like we had walked into the kitchen and made our way through to the front seating area. We both found that charming, kind of a mom and pop shop. It was cute and cozy looking seating area. ... However temperature was cool. My friend kept her jacket on. But it was also -37, so this is not part of the rating. Service was very friendly. Menu was extensive because not only did they serve Vietnamese food. They also served breakfast/brunch western style. So you could have pho and pancakes. I ordered the pho satay and spring rolls. Both very flavourful and delicious. It was nice they had spinach in the soup but I had thought it was basil. So it was a nutritional plus. Pho satay was nice and peanut ish and mild spice. Lots of meat. I also ordered a side of meatballs. The spring rolls came out right away, very crispy and tasty meat insides. The fish sauce dip was yummy too. I finished off with a slice of peanut butter pie. Very yummy. My friend had the vermicelli. She said it was delicious. My friend said she would come back to eat here again. So would I. And we are big Vietnamese cuisine fans. Read more
