This place looks amazing, and the server and manager were very helpful. The vegetarian options we tried were good. The pani puri was delicious, as were the spring rolls, kadi, and saag paneer. The chocolate fountain and ice cream section were nice. We requested garlic naan, which arrived fresh and ... on time. However, we encountered an issue during the shift from lunch to dinner buffet, with most trays being empty, though we didn't mind paying for dinner. I visited during dinner time and they had a very wide spread of buffet. Place looks like a Royal dinning room with some unique decor from India. Big heavy tables and chairs. The place looked good and lot of representation of India. The food on the other hand was not ... much appetizing. I tried the palak panner, dal makhni and kadhi pakora. The only thing that had any taste was the dal. I ordered a roti and got a naan. The manager was good and came back with a roti later. Ordered a masala chai and it was absolutely flavourless. The service was average if the manager didn’t tend to tables himself. Tried the gulab jamun for dessert at the end and they were tasty. New Asian Village consistently delivers great tasting dishes with a fine selection of imported beers that compliment the dining experience. I recommend ordering off the menu as opposed to the buffet to customise the spice level to your palate.
