Hoang Long Casual Fare - Edmonton, Alberta

Expect to wait 35-45 minutes for your meal. I was charged $2 for spring rolls and my husband $3 (same base price meal). It took forever; I ate my lunch from a take out container walking back to work and it wasn’t tasty. I’m sad because I was hoping this ... would be a close convenient Vietnamese place but they need a major revamping if they want to continue to stay in business. My meal was so spicy my nose was running and I did not order a spicy dish, I had indigestion for the rest of the day. Beef was tough which I’m seeing is a common issue from other reviews. I can’t recommend any of the restaurants on this strip. *YIKES* after seeing the restaurants rude response to my review I take back my 2 stars and give it a 1 star. I ordered yesterday for takeout not knowing what to expect..The pictures don't say the whole story ,I mean I already ate half before thinking about taking pictures of the food .The pork belly was delicious ,together with beef that melts in your mouth , the veggies and the egg ... just compliment's it ! Excellent food, polite service - what more can you want from a lunch place. Always happy to support these guys - usually go with the lemongrass chicken on rice with extra chicken and I can usually get two meals out of that.

Good quality Vietnamese food. Fairly quick service. A pager is provided to notify you when your order is ready. This is a good spot gor a quick lunch.

Amazing Vietnamese food! Great variety of drinks and food outside the Vietnamese cuisine menu. I tried the ramen and it was awesome.
