Worst hotdog I’ve had in my life. Ordered three for just under $30. See photo. Waited awhile too. Think they were cooked in the morning and zapped after I ordered. $10 dogs and really really terrible like yesterday’s dried uppers from the picnic. Oh stale bread too! Beyond stale in ... fact Update- franchise emailed me to try and get review deleted. I went through all the steps on website and no response from vendor. GREAT SERVICE AMAZING FOOD! Probably best hot dog ever had, get it with cheese! The ladies came by twice to make sure we were happy with the food and they even had a little treasure chest for the kids to pick a little toy. Clean and great food!
The food is usually good (burnt today) - typically best veggie dog in the city. However, the service is exceptionally slow. 35 minutes to get a hot dog and poutine at lunch. Made me late for a meeting. I'd love to support this place but it's just too slow.
The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Whenever we order food, it comes quickly. They have a few tables with chairs & bench/booth seating. They also have a booster seat and highchair for use, if you need them. There is ample parking in the lot surrounding the building. ... They have a washroom onsite. They have a large selection of help-yourself toppings and sauces. You can order to stay or take it to go. They have daily specials for a discounted price OR an extensive menu to choose from. I hadn't been here before. Music was kinda loud which is fine, but the staff member asked me to repeat myself multiple times. By the end she was just short with me. Ended up getting the junior frank.. which was (as others have posted) burned. When I went to put ... condiments on, I noticed they had multiple condiments, such as mayonnaise, that should be on ice but were not. Was not willing to chance that. Not a good experience from service to food, and I do not intend to revisit. I do not eat hotdogs often, but in my opinion just order a roller-dog from 711; at least they are more likely to adhere to food and safety standards. Read more
