Excellent Ginger Beef (E5 on the menu). A bit of spice was just right for the average person. Very good Seafood Laksa soup (J9 on the menu). Soup was brought out in 5 min while the beef we had to wait over 30 min. Would have been nice if the ... dishes were brought out together as these are the only 2 dishes we (a party of 2) ordered. Food overall is good. Some things could be better, like the claypot rice - too much water when making the rice, and no crispy rice bits. They did tell me it would be a 30 mins wait. Nor with the wait. Chicken and sausage had good seasoning but I wish ... it had mushrooms. Borscht was good. Curry brisket was good. Good portion of tiger shrimps w/ vermicelli, at least 6. Prices for some things I thought were steep. French toast I asked for peanut butter and didn't get it and they did apologize for. Service is ok of you speak Cantonese. Closed on Mondays and opens at 12 PM on weekdays. Opens an hour earlier on weekends. Their menu offers a wide variety of choices, but I opted for the clay pot rice and was not disappointed. I also ordered a side of Chinese toast, which is essentially simple French toast with ... condensed milk but absolutely delicious. The place could use a bit of cleaning and scrubbing. Read more

My first time at this restaurant by my friends recommendation. Please note they open at noon on Fridays. It is located in a stand alone building near a gas station and small strip mall off of Calgary Trail. This restaurant is quite popular at lunch time, most tables seat 4. There is a lunch ... special and extensive menu. There are a few options for those who don't eat pork such as fish and chicken. I had the chicken dish as part of the lunch special. It came with bok choi and rice and a drink. I really enjoyed my meal. It has all the traditional flavors of Hong Kong style food. I also suggest you try the hot lemon tea. Read more

Food is excellent here. I had the clay pot rice number 1 which came with Chinese style pork sausage and chicken. To my surprised it came with really well seasoned greens with garlic. Soup came with carrots and a piece of pork. Rice dish itself was very tasty. Rice separated ... itself really well similar to sushi rice. Chicken was seasoned and topped with green onions and had a sauce on it as well. It was cooked with oil but it doesn't taste greasy which I love. Server was great and told me that the signature dish is the duck and apparently the number one duck dish in Edmonton. Will need to try one day. Read more
