Rosario’s Pub Karaoke Central - Edmonton, Alberta

Rosario’s is considered the Mecca for karaoke in Edmonton. It’s for good reason. They cater to the karaoke experience. Miniature stage with lighting, multiple screens with lyrics, good sound and mic setup, song submission via an app, and a KWC host venue. Rosario’s is a ... large venue, which would mean long waits on busy nights, but the crowds are energetic and supportive. My Canada Day experience was atypical based on other reviews. Karaoke didn’t start until 10pm as there were no performers and was able to do two songs in about an hour. It was nice, but probably not the norm. As a bar, the food is generally on par with other bars in the city. I’ve had better and worse elsewhere in town. Wait staff was personable and attentive. Drink prices were the only downside. I understand it’s a bar, but pop was expensive at $5.50 for a mini-pitcher and a no refill policy. I would have been less critical if the full priced refill wasn’t half filled with ice. Overall, if karaoke is your thing, Rosario’s is where you need to be. It likely won’t replace my regular karaoke venue, but it would be a fun experience with friends on a busy night. Read more

It's a fun place, however, the drinks are pricey and if you come in late you'll be lucky to get in one song. The service was okay and the washrooms were fairly clean, haven't tried their food yet. If you like karaoke I would recommend this for a fun night ... out, just bring some extra cash and your patience. Read more

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Sasha at Rosario’s. Sasha's humor and approachability made my experience truly enjoyable. Not only is she a fantastic server, but she also shines as a manager, leading her staff with dedication and care. Sasha's hard work and excellent management skills definitely ... deserve recognition. Having frequented this karaoke bar on weekends, I can confidently say it’s become my go-to spot for a fun night out.
