Country Mercantile Store - Edmonton, Alberta

Great store that had many different snacks and groceries. I met the owner at the store. The chicken burger I had order was something I’ll be coming back for! In the end he was extremely friendly and helped me take my groceries to my car.

Such a great treasure. Handy store with such a variety of items including most necessities. We ended up there right around supper and chose to get something from the kitchen. Yummm! I have been supplying ice to country merc for the past few years. I am so thankful to them for helping me have a job. When you support local you help creates jobs where you live. I always look forward to bringing ice here because it is ... one of my favourite spots to stop for pizza. They have a different sort of crust. It rises a lot and has a crisp bottom. I love it. The taste and texture blows my mind. Best part is the people at the country always smile. You really don’t get that in the city where too often the customer is treated as a burden.
