I ordered rice and chicken and it had blood all over it and it made my stomach hurt so much.I don’t recommend this place to anyone.The inside could be renovated and cleaned.The service was good and the food came on time.

This place should be closed down. No way they meet health and safety inspections. I was grossed out before my meal even arrived. Hygiene is nonexistent. To all the non-Somalis that walk into this place, this is not a real representation of Somalis.

Alright I don't really want to share this review because I don't really want other people to discover this place but that feels unfair to the owner. First off I walk in and the smell of incense of some kind hits me and I genuinely don't think I could survive ... dinning in here. I ask for a menu and a gentleman informs me he is the menu and lists of the type of meats I can choose from. Being a fan of authentic food I am immediately excited and nervous so I put it to faith and ask for one beef one lamb. This apparently suffices as an order and I am sat down with a bowl of mystery soup to tide me over while I wait. All told the food was amazing and very reasonably priced and you absolutely should go here just don't tell your friends about it, and if you can't handle the incense take your food to go like I did! Best Somali food that I've tried in Edmonton but expect to be looked at weird and have to ask for your included soup and juice if you're not Somalian.
