First time goer. Good little fast-food joint. Great service (was that Candy?). Great chicken, good portions on fries, good gravy, good coleslaw. Perfect if you want fried chicken/fast food for a quick dinner. Make sure to bring cash or a debit card. Support local, avoid chain resturants!

I ordered a 9 piece meal. With the sides and the buns, it was $55 when I went into pay for it somehow I ended up with a 6 person meal with 15 pieces of chicken and I ended up paying $78. I tried to dispute it. But they said that's ... what I ordered. Even though I confirmed at the end of my phone call what I ordered. A little bit more than what I was expecting. But I also ended up with more chicken than I ordered. They have really good chicken. I would still go back there even though there was a mix up. Read more

Candy's chicken was awesome! Recommended by the North Kildonan neighborhood group on facebook, then I gave it a try, their chicken was juicy, and the breading and spice were really good. I remember the town where I grew up. For years Candy's has been mine and my family's favourite place for fried chicken. From the juicy chicken to the salads, fries, dinner rolls and gravy. Ooooo the gravy! Everything is always delicious here and customer service is wonderful.
