I have been a faithful client since they opened. Always felt welcome and the items I ordered never disappointed (whether eat in or take-out). Good size portions very tasty, great presentation, fresh sushi and sashimi, and the service is always great. Pleasure doing business with you Julian and staff!

We have been going to akari for years for our date nights. Tonight we ordered our usual special combo and were disappointed and in disbelief. This place always had high standards, good taste and presentation. Our teriyaki beef was burnt so badly it looked cremated and i had to say a ... prayer for the loss. How does a chef serve this? Do you not take pride in your craft or business? Skip could only issue me 50% off for a dish so inedible. The roll was loosely rolled and so sloppy that when we opened the container it already fell apart. Considering your prices went up so high i suggest you also raise your standards back up. Read more

Food was bomb! Our first time here and we will definitely come back:) If you’re going with a group of friends definitely do the deluxe boat! Must-try items: Akari House Salad, Tempura, Agadashi Tofu, Crispy Roll.

Long time sushi establishment across from Scottsdale Centre. Good variety of sushi, sashimi, special rolls, and lunch/dinner boxes. The seafood ingredients used are fresh. Really like the various rolls (e.g. Fantastic roll) - good size and good blend of different fish. Fast food service.
