The best indian restaurant in Vancouver. Ive been to a few and can state that this is by far the best Indian resto in Vancity. Love their food, service, ambience everything. We stopped by for lunch on a weekday and were promptly seated. They also take reservations online so do ... that on busier days/weekends. We ordered their lamb chops, dynamite shrimp, goat curry, bhatura & garlic naan! Everything was divine but their lamb chops - omg - i still crave for them every week!! Perfectly flavored juicy melt in your mouth chops that are screaming with flavor in every bite. The dynamite shrimp is another app that I can keep munching all night long. It does have a kick to it but you can customize the spice levels while placing your order. The goat curry was delicious and had such simple home made flavors which paired perfectly with the Indian bread. Now for dessert we were stuffed but wouldnt leave without something so ordered their ferrero crunch bar with vanilla ice cream - amazing dense ferrero bar not too sweet but perfect for someone like me who doesnt have a sweet tooth. The vanilla balanced the denseness of the bar as well. Glad we tried it. And their chai - homely! All in all highly recommend this Indian resto when in Vancouver. Read more

I don't even know how to start writing about what an abomination this place is. If you like dishes that resemble Indian food, but you also really like the flavour of cardboard mixed with uncooked tasteless food then at no cost avoid this place. First things first, we called ahead ... of time and made a reservation but still had to wait for 20 mins with walk in customers, so the concept of reservation is completely lost to these guys. Secondly, if you want to hire absent minded servers who do not return to tables then yes, you're doing a great job. We had to ask 3 different servers to send our server to the table to take our orders. Third, why bother making tasteless half cooked food? Why not serve it raw? Makes no sense as to why would anyone want to eat here again. This is by far the most over rated place in whole of GVA by a mile. Read more

The tasty dynamite prawns were absolutely to die for! It’s got a flavourful kick of spice and sweetness to it. The corn chops were also pretty amazing!
