Chettinad Dosa King - Delta, British Columbia

After my favorite Roti Prata (Paratha) restaurant moved to Kamloop, I have been searching for alternative and this is it!! Just like in Singapore and Malaysia. You would miss out if you don’t go here. We had masala dosa, lamb, mutton and chicken with the house dosa (yummy) The food is fresh and the quantity is good. The tea is amazing. Ask for Vakshati, excellent service.

If you like to explore authentic South Indian Kerala style staple food go for it. I tried their Masala dose, Mysore masala dose and Idly Wada. Everything was so delicious! If you have not tried dosa every I would highly recommend to try it here.

The decor in this restaurant is interesting. I like the hanging gold ceiling lights with bird tails as the glass light area. The cultural decor with the hanging umbrellas and pictures were a nice touch. The menu has many options. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our meals. Maybe ... this visit was a one off and perhaps the dishwasher machine was broken. They had three carts filled with dirty dishes at the entrance to the washrooms. That was a little off putting. Service was good. Food looked good. But they fried Casava fries and other things in same oil as Fish they fried. Being vegetarian got taste later as eaten fish and puked at home. There was a hair in my wife's Dosa. That's off my list
