Jagga is one of my all time favorite brunch / lunch places! They have a limited menu for each category (starters / entrees) but they do everything so nicely. The food is obviously always fresh, since the menu has items that cannot be pre cooked. And that's one of the best ... things. The quantity is surprisingly good, and the price is very reasonable. Strongly recommend their aloo parantha, gobi parantha. Chhole bhature, while not the best in this area, are delicious and flavorful. The staff is responsive and helpful, washrooms are clean and well maintained. Overall, always a great visit. Read more
Well made food, the paratha, gajar achaar and bhatura were excellent. Chana had some coloring added, was different but good. Lassi was tasty but a bit thin, presented well with a pista garnish.
I would have given them five stars, if only their chai didn't suck. One of the worst ginger and masala teas. Don't order taa here - they look good in the glass cup, but don't taste good. But their alu paratha was awesome! Other than the taste, it was evenly cooked ... from both sides. Also, the rasgulla of out of the world! Chole Bhature was average. Read more
I recently had the pleasure of dining at an extraordinary restaurant that left my taste buds dancing with delight – an excellent place for Parathas and Baturey. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that we were in for a culinary treat. Our experience at this restaurant was ... nothing short of fantastic, and I can't wait to share it with you. Our group had heard glowing recommendations about this place, and it certainly lived up to the hype. We decided to explore a variety of dishes to get a well-rounded taste of their offerings. To start, we ordered their signature Choley Baturey. The fluffy, golden-brown batureys were an absolute delight. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a perfect complement to the rich and flavorful choley. The combination was heavenly, and we couldn't get enough of it. Moving on to the parathas, we sampled a range of flavors, each more delicious than the last. The Mooli Paratha had a perfect balance of spiciness and the freshness of radishes. The Gobi Paratha was loaded with fragrant cauliflower and spices, making it a delightful choice. The Paneer Paratha, filled with creamy cottage cheese, was a true indulgence. What made the meal even more memorable was the outstanding pickle they served. It was an explosion of flavors – tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet. Each bite was a rollercoaster of tastes that paired beautifully with the parathas. To cleanse our palates, we were served a sweet and creamy dahi (yogurt) that was a refreshing contrast to the spiciness of the parathas. It provided a perfect balance to our meal. The service at this restaurant was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They guided us through the various options and ensured that our dining experience was exceptional. In conclusion, if you're a Paratha enthusiast, this restaurant is a must-visit. The Choley Baturey, Mooli Paratha, Gobi Paratha, and Paneer Paratha are all outstanding choices. The pickle and dahi add extra layers of flavor to the experience. With excellent service to top it off, you'll leave with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. We loved every moment of our meal here, and we can't wait to return. This restaurant has certainly earned its place as the go-to spot for Parathas and Baturey lovers! Read more
They used to have good quality ,but today I had a disappointing experience. There were mosquitoes and flies hovering around the food, and even sitting on the mango shake I ordered. This is really unacceptable and unbelievable. It ruined my entire experience, and I would not recommend visiting this place ... until they improve their hygiene standards. Read more
