Came here back in 2015 while visiting Vancouver and the food was awesome. We all thoroughly enjoyed all the good. Talked to the owner as well back then and he seemed like a nice guy, but said that this kind of food just wasn't that popular around here. Since then, judging ... by the recent reviews, the ownership MAY have changed and there are a lot of negative reviews now. One of the worst restaurants I have been too. Food is overpriced and has no flavor. All you taste is MSG in the food really. I barely finished my meal cause of how bad it was. I typically don't like writing negative reviews but when one place is exceptionally bad and are cheating potential customers by lying on google reviews, it deserves an accurate rating and I'm going out of my way to show you the truth. Any review here giving 4 or 5 stars is ... most likely done by employees, fake accounts, or family/friends. My brother and I visited this place today, for his birthday. In our home city we had a couple places to eat hakka style cuisine that got us absolutely hooked on this food. We ordered 2 lassi's and 3 dishes - chili chicken, chili shrimp, and hakka chow. First the staff - being generous and leaving out minor annoyances, the chef waited to finish his meal, nearby us before leaving to cook what we had ordered. It's just bad business to sit in front of customers and enjoy your meal as they wait to be served. The food was incredibly bland. The chili chicken which is normally loaded with flavour lacked any sort of taste. Pretty much the only noticeable flavour was the green chili's and that was about it. I'm pretty sure by the way it taste, they added a little bit of ingredients and a ton of water to save on supplies? Not to mention that shortly after the meal we were both bloated and feeling ill. Neither of us ate our meals fully, in fact, we barely ate much. we packed it up and later dumped it after the stomach cramps came in. My brothers hakka chow was bland as well, he ended up only eating some of the veggies - which he said were most likely frozen rather than fresh. It's a bit after 11:00pm now and I still feel bloated/sick. We didn't complain, just figured we'd pay our bill and never come back. For the 2 drinks and 3 small dishes it came to $60.00. It was very disappointing, we were really looking forward to eating hakka cuisine, PLEASE do not pay attention to the false reviews on here, this place should definitely be avoided. A more accurate rating for this place is at best 2 stars, and that's only because we didn't see any flies and the places setup is fairly standard. Read more

My new go to Indian Style Chinese restaurant. This is THE place for Indian style Chinese food that tastes just like the way they serve it in India. I’m seriously blown away by how delicious their food is. Green lettuce (Vancouver) was my absolute favourite however I’m finding that Hakka ... Masti’s flavours are more robust and not muted and subtle. This is Chinese food with a difference! Haka Masti has been serving OUTSTANDING Chinese food with an AMAZING difference (the touch of India) for the past three years. Located on Scott Road just North of Nordel-Way in Delta BC, their spotlessly clean restaurant served us two ... menu items,- Basil Chicken and Beef in Black Bean Sauce - at less than $20 at noon.
