Check out TOP-10 Best Asian restaurants in Delta, British ColumbiaReviews for Asian Jazz in Delta, British Columbia
I have been going here for years. Delicious food, great service. Run by a wonderful family. Try the Spicy squid, Szechuan eggplant with tofu, Asian Jazz fried rice and the best wonton and hot and sour soups and pretty much everything. Consistent high quality. Get there while you can.
Another weekend and another order of Chinese food from a restaurant we haven't tried yet. My husband and I ended up ordering (through Uber Eats): 1. Pork Dumplings 2. BBQ Pork Fried Rice 3. House Special Chow Mein 4. Sweet and Sour Pork 5. General Tso's Spicy Chicken 6. Beef and Broccoli The delivery time for the order ... was a bit delayed from the restaurant side, by about 15 or so minutes, so it wasn't a big issue for us. The pork dumplings were overpriced for what we received - it was $15 for 12 pieces and man, I wish we didn't order it. They didn't give an option with whether you want them to be fried or steamed. The dumplings must have been baked, because the casing wasn't bubbled from being deep fried and it was definitely not steamed since that's usually how I prefer my dumplings, so the outside was very dry and the filling was quite bland, even with the side of sauce that they give with the order. If it was steamed, it may have been decent, but it's hard to say since that wasn't the case. The BBQ fried rice, Sweet & Sour Pork and Beef & Broccoli was good and were how it should have tasted, so no complaints with these dishes. The House Special Chow Mein was definitely my favorite dish out of the 6, but the only complaint I have, was that the pork slices were too thick, which I was pretty excited about visually, but when I ate a slice, it was very very dry and chewy. The dish that was the most disappointing was the General Tso's Spicy Chicken. First and foremost, it wasn't spicy. The most disappointing part, was the fact that the chicken did not taste good at all. It was hard, chewy and you couldn't even tell it was chicken. We aren't totally writing off this restaurant since they do have an extensive size menu and it wasn't terrible by any means, but we also won't be running back. Read more
Nothing special about the food. Lemon chicken is tasteless, portion are small, and price are expensive compared to other chinese restaurant in Surrey. I ordered Dinner for 2 (A), and price is about $40 (after deducted 10% - self pick up). Their service also super super slow, took 1 ... hour to get your food. When they say 1 hour, they actually will give you the food exactly 1 hour later. The owner is not friendly at all. I'll definately not returning to this restaurant, and not recommend to anyone. My first experience at Asian Jazz left me with great first impressions. The staff was welcoming and the decor of the small restaurant was warming. Our party of seven order several dishes as seen in the pictures. All the food came out hot and really delicious. However, I failed to ... rate this restaurant 5/5 stars because I eat Chinese food quite often and this restaurant is not exceptional but simply good and dependable. In short, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and come by again in the near future. Read more
Well, after being away from the lower mainland for the past few years, I'm sad to say that this wonderful restaurant is permanently closed. We came down to visit and we missed it by 4 days. Too bad, as this was one of the best Asian restaurants in Greater Vancouver. ... They have retired now and I wish them all the best!!(even though their food will be greatly missed 😢) Read more
