Great Afghan Food in Surrey! Decided to try out some Afghan Food for some post-workout dinner and found Pamir Diner nearby. It wasn't too busy during dinner time on a Sunday and I was able to get seated right away. I ordered the following: - Kabuli Palaw & Lamb Shank - Beef Kebab - Qaimaq ... Chai (pink tea) The Kabuli Palaw & Lamb Shank was delicious. The lamb meat came right off the bone and complimented the rice really well. The flavors and texture of the dish were great, it reminds me of Biryani which I also love. One Con I would say about the dish is that the side of potatoes and the sauces could be a bit more generous in my opinion. I also ordered a side of beef kebab which I thought was great flavor wise, but it did seem a bit dry in my opinion. To top off my meal I decided to try out the Qaimaq Chai (Afghan Pink Tea). It does take some time to prepare since it's made to order, but it was definitely worth it! It was creamy, refreshing and hot to help digest the food. Service here was great, and the staff were friendly. Interior was clean and cozy with good lighting. Only thing I would mention is regarding the seating - the tables are a bit on the taller side, so unless you're a tall person then it might feel slightly awkward when eating, but honestly it's not a huge deal, just something I observed while dining in. Also they do have TV's inside the restaurant but I noticed it was just being used to play Spotify music - would be pretty nice to have a variety of Afghani music videos playing or something or maybe just have it on the sports channel. There's plenty of free parking in this lot, so you'll never have to worry about finding where to park. The place is relatively easy to get to as well. It's just along Scott Road (120 ST). I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The service was outstanding, and the kebab platter was incredibly tasty. Don't even get me started on the pink tea – it was heavenly. Already looking forward to going back.

After receiving many recommendations, I finally visited this place today with my family. We received a warm welcome with a smile. Being newcomers, we were unsure about what to order. The servers were exceptionally kind and patient, they explained the menu in a nice way. Unlike other places that rush ... you to order, here we felt at ease and truly enjoyed our time. Regarding the food, the kebabs were juicy and the rice was flavorful. I have to say, we had an incredible dining experience and appreciated the atmosphere and service. my family has had dinner here many times. We enjoy all of the food and portion sizes are large enough for 2 people to share. The lamb shank plate and the veggie platter are awesome. we really liked the Lobia dish too. The Kabuli rice taste great. Plus their food ... comes piping hot! The classic baklava is delicious, and the new one with some sort of cream in it we all disliked. my family loves rose ice cream. The Qaimaq pink tea is great. The servers are very good at explaining the menu and helping make modifications if needed. The only negative was that they needed multiple reminders to bring side plates and extra spoons for our party of 6. Read more

Had a wonderful experience at this charming family-owned restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Each dish we tried was delicious, with that authentic, home-style flavor you just can’t find in chain restaurants. The portions were generous, giving great value for the price.
