Ray's is an institution. Staff are great. Solid chicken shawarma platter and wrap. Food handling procedures may be a little sus. Don't be in a rush. Lots of seating.

If you've not stopped here, your going to feel really stupid when you do. Food is outstanding. Ray is a wonderfully man and works extra hard to make sure your happy and feel welcome. Try everything.

Who puts cold potatoes in a shawarma wrap? And green peppers? The vegetables were cut very big and the tomato was flavourless. Worst shawarma I've ever had. I couldn't even get through the whole thing. Sorry but something needs to change here (probably the management). We got the shawarma plate too ... and it's severely greasy and cold. The man working here also tried hitting on me in front of my husband and father in law. The accessible door button was broken as well. Go to one of the dozens of amazing local restaurants in Dartmouth instead. Read more

Good mix of side dishes in the chicken shawarma platter. Easy to order, clear menu options, possible customizations, and plenty of space for dining in. The only downside was that the rice was dry/over cooked and the pita bread isn’t freshly made. Good option for lunch in burnside that isn’t ... just Mezza. It also closes earlier than the Ray’s in Bayer’s Lake. Read more
