This was the last chance for this place. We've been here multiple times and keep trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but they failed time and time again. Today we went there and waited for an extended period of time, no-one came to seat us. The front of ... the store looked like an eviction party had taken place. So we left. Extremely disappointed in this place. You're better off to get beer from propeller, food from McDonald's and have a picnic in the parking lot. Read more

Late afternoon lunch here. Ambiance maybe could be better. Service very friendly. Haddock tacos probably best I've eaten ever. Had the Irish Red Ale...great! Would definitely go again.

Unfortunately I cannot say much good about Downeast Beer Factory. Was there on June 18 for supper with my family. There were only two other tables with patrons and it took approx 40 minutes for our orders to be taken and over an hour for the food. We had ... full view of the 'chef' cooking and simultaneously sampling fries and wings as he prepared food for others. Literally licking his fingers. Wrong orders were then served, the server argued about whether or not cheese was on a burger someone had ordered (literally had to lift the bun to prove there was no cheese) and the floors were reminiscent of a movie theatre... very sticky/crunchy while walking. Great selection of beer, varied menu with some fun options. You can tell they're working on making the space their own, so I have high hopes for the place. Service has ranged from great to slow across three visits.
