My experience at Sushi Town Coquitlam (STC) today May 4, 2024. My son and I stoped by STC for a late lunch and we ordered sushi for both of us; two rolls each one California roll and one salmon roll each. The nice server brought the order and I saw ... that the pieces at the end of the California roll had a dark color. I further examine these pieces and realized that the dark stuff was the avocado which was almost rotten. I got sick just looking at it. I called the waiter and complained. She went to the back and brought two pieces of California roll in better shape to replace the rotten food. At that point I left the restaurant and to my surprise on my way out I was charged for the two salmon rolls as those had nothing wrong according to the cashier person. Honestly no one apologized for serving rotten food and I felt so disrespected. Horrible experience with no customer service whatsoever. I do not recommend anyone this restaurant. Im not coming back again. There are many other opinions around this area why bother. Read more
