Me and my husband always come to this restaurant all the time we haven’t gone in a long time I guess almost 9 months we went about two weeks ago the service was OK. The food was awesome, but we were rushed to leave because there was another table ... reserved at 6:30 and I didn’t like that they were rushing us to leave. I didn’t think that was Fair because we we are good customers as I know reservations should be for two hours. We weren’t even there for two hours an hour and a half maybe. Apparently, my husband had to rush to drink his wine too for us to leave, which I was a nice either so I’m gonna think twice I’m coming back which I love the food but if I’m gonna be treated like that, there’s no point. Delicious Italian cuisine 😋. One of my favorite spots in Coquitlam. Everything is spot on taste, portion and pricing isn't bad. Highly recommend.

I don’t eat Italian food often and was so looking forward to some carbonara but man was this a let down. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but it’s about honesty. I ordered the shrimp appetizer and a spaghetti carbonara which came out to $40. Portions were really small (7 ... small shrimp for the app) and the pasta tasted hard and old. I hope you can take this constructively and execute it better next time. The carbonara tasted ok but I prefer the classic style without cream, this version is too thick. Service was good otherwise, I was greeted with a warm welcome and everyone was kind and smiling. I did notice I was overcharged for my food but apparently that’s because they have menu’s that don’t reflect their price increases. Read more

The Golden Boot is Classic Upscale Italian in a super casual setting. The setting is very come as you are. It is like a NY neighbourhood joint only it’s in Coquitlam just steps away from Austin avenue. The Growing Austin Heights community has a real gem for Food , services, comfort ... and staff that have a great personality. We’ve been several times now. Their Pizza is incredible. As are the Salads, soups and desserts. Vancouver casual atmosphere. Not a fancy place. Definitely bring your family. Parking is a bit of a challenge at times. But there is free parking in the area.
