Woody’s Pub - Coquitlam, British Columbia

I've been coming to this pub for years. This is one of the better neighborhood pubs. You can't go wrong with the wings or fish tacos, the rest of the menu is hit or miss. My only complaint would be the closing off of the back section for the cannabis ... store. We've come many times with the guys from work, which we probably drop $500-$600 dollars between all of us and had to leave because there were no seats available .We ended spending our money at a different pub.I've heard other people complaining about this to, not sure if that was a wise choice for them, unless that store is generating huge profits. The $0.59 wings offer is unbeatable! They have a fantastic selection of flavors, a great variety of drinks, and game nights are the best. I absolutely love this place!

Food was good. Service is a bit slow. Nice kind waitress. Busy for a Monday and only two waitresses

We found this place because we searched for a great french onion soup in the Burnaby area. We were not disappointed with the French onion, the flavour was amazing. It was lava hot as per usual and a great mix of onion to broth. The only complaint is, it needs so ... much more cheese. But everything else was spot on in that bowl. The deep fried pickles are nice and crisp. Our server was amazing and friendly. She got to our table pretty fast and the place was full. We sure couldn't complain, she was prompt and very friendly. Three out of the four had the French onion soup and loved it. Drinks were good even though I ordered a Coors banquet, it's been years. I highly recommend this place. If you want to catch a hockey game this place has you covered with tvs Pretty decent atmosphere and great food. Chairs are a little tight on thick thighs haha but can't fault them for that. Read more
