Fairways Grill and Patio - Coquitlam, British Columbia

The food was amazing, but the service was even better! My server was Alexa, and I would recommend her 1000%. Her energy was so bubbly and positive and it honestly made my day! Definitely seating with her from now on.

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch celebrating a milestone birthday. Atmosphere was perfect, the views are never ending. Our service was excellent in every way. Food was at another level, our Pizza was excellent. Great place, great food.

Coming from Toronto.. Love and enjoy great views from the patio. Fish and Fries - both of their batter and fries were overpowdered and little salty. Also, I'm quite disappointed with the fries portion. Unfortunately, two pieces of COD were first serving. Apparently, they looked like cooking with different preparation timing. One was ... great with thick cut crunchy exterior and soft interior, other piece hasn't fully fried to perfection. It's greasy and less crispy. The Downtowner Pizza - pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavor honey drizzle on pizza. The heat of the pizza then warm the honey as it mixed with the sauce and toppings. Wings - no impressed.  Originally ordered with Honey garlic sauce toppings style. Unfortunately, wings were made with buffalo style and tasted like they half coated them with tobasco by mistaken. We have to say they were by far some of the worst wings I have ever eaten. It's tasted like korean BBQ fried chicken wing. A little bit pricey and service does need a lot of improvement. Read more

Views and location are amazing. Would love to visit again in the summer and sit out on their big patio we ordered the soup of the day (chicken and vegetable), it was okay. And we shared a meat lovers pizza. We requested half with no cheese (for me) but the ... pizza came out first time incorrect (it was half cheese only, half meat). Beautiful views of town (all the way to Burnaby) and good pub food. Fries were one of the best I have had. Drinks are good and beer flights are generous. A quick and good place if you’re in the more residential part of northern Coquitlam. I just wish the service was ... more courteous. We had to wait quite a bit to get our server’s attention when we wanted to order extra food and drinks. When the food came (in reasonable time), she came to check on us only when we were almost done. On the bright side, I don’t think this is the service culture at Fairways; the two other persons who helped us sit and get a clean/sanitized table were very nice. Read more
