Zhous Chinese Restaurant - Coquitlam, British Columbia

This used to be our family's go to takeout chinese food restaurant. Not sure if they changed owner's or what happened. We had family in from out of town and ordered the large family combo dinner. When we brought it home everything was cold, the fried rice had a very ... long black hair intertwined throughout the dish. The beef and broccoli had a few small pieces of steel wool in it. The portions are a lot smaller and very little meat was in the dishes. For the amount of money we spent for basically a lot of rice and noodles it's hardly worth it. We arrived and they just offer food to take out. Not service on the restaurant.

Used to enjoy going for lunch, since COVID it only offers takeout and prices have almost doubled. Still the best Chinese Food around.

Nice service and good staff but they should have also vegan options which they need to roast in different pan for vegans! Other than all is good. Aha one more thing! Safety!!! Safety safety!!!!! Hope they will take care of kids/baby seats. We used baby seat for our toddler as ... you can see in the picture. They didn’t provide any straps and seat was not attached to anything. Unfortunately we had a small accident. They need to be very careful on that!! my son had serious problem after falling down! And they are responsible with not providing safety seats!!!
