Open late ⭐ Not veg friendly. Good service. Large dishes ($20+), for sharing; mainly Korean fried chicken. New rustic ecclectic decor, more dividers to separate sections but feels smaller. The food was decent, spicy 🌶👍. Enjoyed the spicy tofu soup 🔥.
We ordered four dishes and all of them were actually pretty good. Authentic Korean food. The staff wasn’t overly friendly but their service was prompt and courteous. Price was reasonable as well. Atmosphere is not the best latest Korean spot trend but the place was clean and welcoming.
Average chicken in Coquitlam. We ordered bone in but lot of pieces were mostly bone. Sauce is decent but too sweet. Rice cake and sausage was good though. Service is okay.
Over the years, Vesta has become our go to place for Korean food. They don’t have everything we love about Korean food, but everything they have is the best version we have tried so far. Our favorites are the spicy pork with veggies, seafood tofu soup, stir fried chicken with ... soy sauce, kimchi fried rice, chive pancake and all versions of the cold noodle dish. And the most mouth watering spicy octopus with noodles is not just a dish but an experience worth sharing. Most of their negative reviews were not about the food but the tipping, but come on, a tip less than 15% is an insult to the quality of food and the same people working there every day. Like most Korean restaurants, there is a bell on the table for service calls. We never had any problem getting the service or food using the bell. Please respect their way of doing business and leave your negativity outside the door. Read more
Salted intestine is a must-try! Paired really nicely with cold buckwheat noodle. Five spice pork front feet is ok. Note that there is a 2-hour seating time limit.
