Our sushi escapade turned out to be more of a comedy than a culinary delight. We ventured into the realm of rolls, bravely ordering a spider roll among others. But alas, as if taking cues from a magician, the sushi rice decided to fall apart before our very eyes. The ... roll itself seemed to have had an identity crisis, comprising 10% crab, 70% cucumber, and a surprising twist of 20% lettuce. Had I known, I would have simply strolled to Save On, snagged a head of lettuce and a cucumber, and called it a night. The adventure continued as we discovered that ordering anything with cucumber in this establishment is akin to inviting a vegetable tsunami onto your plate. On the bright side, it's an involuntary dive into your daily greens. Our server, possibly mistaking us for sprinters, could hardly wait for us to finish verbalizing our order before she was off again. For those seeking real sushi over rabbit food, I'd point you towards Shio Sushi. The quality is night and day and your culinary journey might not feel like a race against time. Read more

Ordered first time here, very nice rolls. Friendly stuff. Nice atmosphere. Recommended!

Shrinkflation is real. $16 total for a dynamite roll and spicy chopped scallop roll. What has changed? 1. Yam tempura instead of shrimp tempura. Dynamite rolls used to have 2 shrimp tempura IIRC. 2. Less crabmeat, more cucumber. 50/50 split now. Overall, it isn't the store's fault that costs have risen so much. ... However, for $16, I feel like the rolls don't provide as much value. Read more

Calm and nice place. Not crowded, the background music was quiet and not distracting. Big assortment of fish and seafood. They serve sushi, nigiri, soup, lots of specialty rolls. Kids bento boxes are available. I really liked ikura nigiri and rainbow roll. Roe in ikura nigiri was big. Staff is friendly but we had to ... repeat a part of the order a couple of times.
