I visited Coquitlam Grill for breakfast today and ordered Steak and eggs. The overall quality of the ingredients was very good. However, I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived well-done. Despite this, the quality was still good. The quantity of the food was very generous, offering great value for ... the price. It made me full, even though I hadn't eaten dinner or supper yesterday. 5/5 is not enough to express how much I liked this place. I visited from Toronto and came here on my friends birthday. The employees were so nice and welcoming to start with. Design of the place was like a nice cozy diner. I liked how if you are by yourself they ... got like single booth with your own screen. My server was Sunny who was nice and hilarious. I asked him “what is popular” and he told me then proceeded to tell me about their “secret menu” of stuff they experiment with. I got a Butter Chicken Lasagna. Want to have a good old fashioned breakfast? Decent place to drop in and munch away when you are feeling a bit peckish. The prices are a bit on the higher side for what you get imo. With so many choices for meals it’s hard to pick one! Our table had a truckers breakfast, two burgers and a patty melt. All the meals were excellent, and the service was exceptional. The food also came out very fast, I was very happy!

Superb service at this restaurant. I ordered NY Strip steak and the fries that came with it were cold. I mentioned it to the waitress and she immediately brought over a huge plate of piping hot, freshly cooked fries. Delicious. Consequently, I am super full now. Garlic bread was definitely a ... highlight. The NY Strip steak was cooked medium-rare to my liking and I enjoyed it, although there could be more veggies. The menu is very diverse, with a little bit of everything and the service was prompt. Overall a very fulfilling meal. Read more
